Cafe Insights Survey

As you would be aware Australian Hospitality businesses especially cafes have been under immense pressure. In the year to June 2026 over 1 in 10 cafes shut down due to higher input costs, as well as consumers feeling the pinch of the cost of living crisis. 

We want to assist by giving Cafes consumer Insights that may assist them in building a more resilient and sustainable business that can ride out the current market conditions.

In this survey we are researching Australian consumers' Cafe habits and preferences. This survey covers coffee, tea, matcha and other similar cafe beverages (excluding soft drink and alcohol) together with treats (cakes, slices, pastries and snacks) and food purchased from cafes. Your responses will help cafes better understand what consumers value.
